It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Willie Jean Jackson, who passed away on February 18, 2025, at the age of 76.

Willie Jean was born on March 22, 1948, and she spent her life as a beacon of love, strength, and kindness to everyone she encountered. As a mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, Willie Jean’s influence was immeasurable, and her loss leaves a profound emptiness in the lives of all who knew her.

Willie Jean she was all always willing to talk to you about anything and she told you the truth about things that you was doing she was very lovable person she was just like a mom to me and her sister-in-law she always tried to help me in any kind of way she ain’t mine she’ll go out to wait and I know she’s going to a better place

    • Dear Lord, I come before you today with a grateful heart, thanking you for the gift of Willie Jean Jachson. Lord you loaned her to us for 86 yrs. Father in heaven, please give strength to her two son’s, daughter in law grandbaby and sister Georgia. I will miss you my friend and neighbor.

  6. What a blessing it was to know this beautiful woman! She was definitely a gift from God. We had the pleasure of working together for about five years. We had several things in common, like our birthdays and her favorite colors! We even had nicknames for each other. I called her Willie JJ and she lovingly called me white chocolate! My prayers are with the entire family as you morn the loss of such a great person.

  7. Willie Jean was an encourager, a beautiful soul. She encouraged my sisters and me to become members of the Host/Hostess Committee in its early years. We shared family outtings because we had sons that were similar in age. I moved away, but she left a trail of beautiful memories. Rest in Peace.

  10. There are so many memories of our family’s faces racing through my mind and heart especially of the childhood we all shared in our little town of Jena and Jonesville.
